Tennis, I adore thee

I had my hair colored again yesterday, so I took a picture to show you guys... and then I ended up getting carried away with my vain self and took several extras. Just in case you forgot what I looked like:

The above were taken with my digicam after I realized that the ones taken with my computer camera (shown below) where not suitable enough. Still, I thought that they warranted posting... because I'm that self-absorbed. (Hey, I blog daily, doesn't that already tell you how self-absorbed I am?)

Do I look Taiwanese in those pics or what?

Last year, for my protest of V-Day, I wore my red shirt which said "Love is... nothing but trouble" and had the cute little Love Is boy with devil horns. This year, my anti-love shirt was the following, which BTW, also illustrates one of the reasons why I appreciate tennis so--for its philosphy. ;)

Over the weekend, I also hung out with Miss Quang at Harvard. She took me to a Tet party that her HVA was throwing. Lots of free & DELICIOUS vietnamese food. YUM. They had some cheesy party games as well, such as a spoof on The Apprentice and Who Wants to be a Millionaire. My pals volunteered me (against my will) for Who Wants to be a Millionaire and I was forced to answer a question about Vietnam (even though I had chosen the other choice, which was a question about the USA. PS, the girl asked if I was Vietnamese or American. What kind of questions is that? I can only be one or the other? ANYWAY) and I guessed--that's right, guessed, had no clue what the answer was--and my prize was a chocolate covered fortune cookie and a liquer filled chocolate candy. My fortune inside the cookie was the following:

Don't be afraid to tell someone you care.

Well, alright. Dear friends & strangers, any and all readers who happen to happen upon this *cough*humble blog, I care. Thanks for showing interest in my daily events and rumblings... basically, thanks for caring about me too. Peace, joy and happiness be with you always. ;)
