I get that it will always be hard for non-Viet/Asian ppl to get my last name right, but where does Noo-jen come from?

The second "syllable" (if we want to call it that, even though technially all Vietnamese words are one syllable) starts with a Y, not a G or a J. Noo-jen? Noo-JEN?
