a smidge of advice: so if you're trying to get to arcadia via highway 66, and you end up hitting rancho cucamonga, YOU'VE GONE TOO FAR. (don't ask.)

i forgot to add my buyer goals... although miraculously, it is very short. of course, i'll have to wait until i start working again and have saved up a bit of moola.

• bigger tv
  
• one of those mp3 phones (i still like my razr, so this is debateable)
  
• quality luggage
  

one more week of blissful vacation! i'm going to maximize this opportunity with mucho sleep and lollygaggleing about.

i'm going to start and try to title my posts with song lyrics again. can you guess?? eh... you only need to google.

saw x3 and over the hedge. next week is the break-up!! who wants to go? call me! see you when i see you =)

vacation is here!

been home about a week, did much sleeping and watching of the tv. soooooooooooooooooo nice. i've also thrown in some reading material in order to round out my potatoe couch life. some goals for the summer:

• eat at all my favorite restaraunts (KB, JB, etc.)
  
• gym at least every other day
  lose about 5 lbs
  flatten the stomach
  strengthen up the noodle arms!
  
• finish the horde of books i've stashed in my suitcase from boston:
  Harry Potter (1-4)
  Wicked
  The Devil Wears Prada
  Why We Get Sick: The New Science of Darwinian Medicine
  The Red Queen: Sex and the Evolution of Human Nature
  The Book of Salt
  A History of the Wife
  
• also to buy and consume: Angels and Demons (i finished the Da Vinci Code!), remaining Harry Potters, Confessions of an Ugly Stepsister... and whatever else amuses me at the bookstore.
  
• clean my room (old and new) and find stuff to give/donate
  
• spend time with the people and mi familia
  
• fancy up a good portion of my scrapbook (although, just realized all my pictures are in boston)
  
• new eyeglasses
  
• i'll think of more later...
  

i think i may have made a similar list last summer, and i recall not making it far. let's see if i have more committment this time around. also, i hope to take a few trips this summer: vegas, sf, or otherwise. i'll have to fit it around my work schedule though, as well as around everyone else's work schedule--travelling alone is not as fun! i don't start work for another week and half. i will be merrily spending that time chillaxing, as well as enjoying this lovely so cal weather. if there was anything i wish i could take with me in my suitcase back to the east, it's the california sun! call me if you're bored, i'm just laying about (er... working on my summer goals). peace, joy and daisies!
