the apartment buildings on my street. i should've taken a pic of the street itself, you would see that i could probably snowboard down the hill.
more apartments, i might try to live there next year.
that's my shadow, and that's the walkway i had to walk through!
now i'm just walking ontop of snow piles. good thing i've got boots now, but i think i'm going to tell my mom to send me my snowboots.
look at this wall! it's almost as tall as me!!
just showing you more snow. :)
try driving in this crap. oh yes, the night before, people were actually driving on top of snow.
another snow-filled walkway that was hard to walk on with my sever lack of coordiation.
the train tracks again, this time with more snow. oh yeah, i waited at the station for 20 minutes, nearly freezing to death, only for one of the MBTA workers to drive by and tell everyone that the trains weren't working in my area and that we had to take the bus. craptastic!
another brave trooper in the snow. actually, there were quite a bit of people out and about today. even though there's lots of snow, the sun was shining and the sky was clear, so it was a verra pretty day.
poor parking meters.
this is the south entrance to my school. the west entrance is much fancier. once again, snow everywhere.
i had lunch here today! i wanted shabu shabu, but once we found out that only the buses were running in our area, janice suggested this place instead since it was closer than china town. it was verra good, and i had hot asian soup, which was my main goal for the day.
harvard school of public health.
once again, the stop and shop, but with a whole lot more snow.
i'm glad i don't drive in boston.
first church of christain science. i'm a little leery of what goes on inside there, but they have a verra nice facility.
and finally, so you don't forget what i look like:
with the snowy weather, it takes me twice as long to get ready to go out. i have extra clothes underneath my regular clothes, plus i have boots, a coat, earmuffs, scarf, hat, gloves... I MISS SUMMER CLOTHING!! yeah, i know, some of you were tanning at the beach yesterday, in the middle of january no less... BOO!
but despite the cold cold weather, i must admitt, i'm glad i went outside today, for it was verra pretty and the air felt nice and clean because of the recent snow fall. it was also fun to watch everyone waddle in the snow. while i shall always prefer the perpetual california sunshine, a few bostonian seasons can't really hurt me.
since today was a snow day and class was cancelled, i will make a half-assed attempt to study now. we'll see how that actually works out. ;)
