One Month Anniversary

Okay, so it's actually past a month, point being, a little over a month ago, I arrived here, wide-eyed and scared and cautiously excited at the prospect of my new life here in the cultural little city of Boston. The pangs of homesickness are still ever-present, albeit, I don't think that pang shall ever go away, but the loneliness has subsided. There are new friends and faces, and even some old ones. I know TWO people who went to UCI at the same time I did as well as TWO people who have gone to Western High. 'Tis a small world after all. (Yeah, I know, cliche much?) For the party girl in me, I didn't have to go a whole month without getting drunk or crazy. I went to a Harvard party last week, and let me tell you, those harvard intellectuals sure know how to party it up. As for the el-cheapo in me, I've found a TARGET! It was in the South Bay Shopping Center that was like a hallmark to suburbia... I thought I'd never see a parking lot again... *sigh* =)

A month has found me with TV, new sheets, cable internet, an ipod, two laundry trips, two posters put up and two exams. For next month, the goals are: desk, snow boots, futon/couch, pots & pans, microwave, and bathroom organizer!
